Reflection #4
In the Middle East, people are often brutalized, jailed and killed for their faith, or lack of faith, in God. In the United States, yes people of often judged and ridiculed for their faith, but it is far less common for people to die over religion in the U.S. than it is in the Middle East.
I believe that as the United States progresses, people will begin to be more accepting of other religions. There will be less hate for having a different religion than the majority of the country.
I fully agree with your reflection. The Middle East is much more strict with their religious policies, and have more severe punishments than the U.S.. Where as in America, we won't usually resort to violence. Also, I too am hoping that as time goes by, Americans will become more accepting and understanding of religions other than their own. The videos were also very eye-opening and interesting to listen to.
